365 ~ 16 thru 23 ~ Busch Gardens

I thought I would be able to post daily while we were out of town, but the internet at our campground was way too slow...so I have to play catch up.

We took a few days away to go to Busch Gardens in Tampa, Fl....

16 ~ Tank

(What?  Your husband doesn't drop the gas tank before you go on a trip?)  LOL

(Our first day there we were to spend all day at Busch, however the rain started the night before and never stopped all day, so we snuggled in the camper, played games and watched a movie)

(After entering Busch Gardens, you are greeted by the well fed gators...they are so fat and lazy...but I still wouldn't want to test their friendliness)

(What a  beauty)

(There is a bridge you can stand on and watch the flume ride.  We thought we had found a "dry" viewing spot, lol...I guess not!)

22 ~ Shiekra

This roller coaster is the biggest rush of fun ever!  It's smooth, doesn't mess with your head and gives you such a thrill when it drops you FACE down from 200 feet...yup, it's a straight down 90 degree drop...wow!!!

I found this coffee table on Craigslist.  I've been looking for a round table for a long time, with a little design element.  It was stained dark cherry and I wanted to do a "white aged table"...here is my finished project.

I liked the natural light and soft shadows that were created at this time of day...

My front porch.  It's chilly enough for the reds to be bright...by mid summer, they will be pale from the heat.  It's warm enough for me to prepare my veggie garden (see the flat full of cabbage plants).  January isn't so bad in Florida. :)

This is my next door neighbor's Egyptian Walking Iris....I wish it would "walk" on over to my garden.  She gave me 2 divisions, but mine have not done quite as well as hers...so pretty.

Sunspot

My boxer has adopted this spot on the floor where the sun comes through the window...I think she believes she is a cat. :)

I loved the softness of this photo, and even liked (to an extent the shadows)...but they were too deep and you can't see her adorable face.  A flash washed it out completely and took away "what I saw".  Any suggestions on how to correct this?
