365/143 through 151 ~ D.C.

We are back from our trip to the D.C. area to visit our son.  I have a ton of photos that I would love to share, but I'll just pick a few to make it a little less painful for you! :)  We were suppose to have internet at our hotel, but it was 'lost' the first night and didn't come back till the night before we left...sigh.  SO, I must play catch up here...

Our first day was a LONG day, and this bed was just what I needed.  If you care to read about that day, go HERE

365/103 ~ Eye See Me ~

I was taking flower photos with my Macro lens when one of my little neighbor friends stopped by...so I took a photo of his eye and got a self-portrait at the same time!

365/84 ~ Do You See What I See? ~

I was making sourdough style bread the other day.  I covered my bowl in plastic wrap and as the yeast had been doing it's thing for over 24 hours, the plastic formed this enormous bubble above the bowl, I wanted to take a photo of it...

...after closer inspection, I realized I can just about see my entire kitchen in there...including me!

365 Days of our Life (Open Scrapbook)

Welcome to my new Photo Blog - please excuse the boring page, I'm still in the process of designing a pretty header and picking out a nice background...be patient with me! :)

I'm not new to blogging, but I wanted to start a photo blog that was separate from my other 2 blogs, Blessed Beyond Imagination (about life in general), and The Wooden Spoon (chock full of recipes and "how-to" cooking photos).

I'm linking up with my sweet friend Rocio in the meme, 365 Days of our Life.

I snagged this bit of info directly from her blog page...

~About OpenScrapbook Project 365~
