365/143 through 151 ~ D.C.

We are back from our trip to the D.C. area to visit our son.  I have a ton of photos that I would love to share, but I'll just pick a few to make it a little less painful for you! :)  We were suppose to have internet at our hotel, but it was 'lost' the first night and didn't come back till the night before we left...sigh.  SO, I must play catch up here...

Our first day was a LONG day, and this bed was just what I needed.  If you care to read about that day, go HERE

  3. These are fabulous! So many great pictures. How did you get the effect you got on the last picture? I love it. I like your flag perspective shot too. They're all wonderful though.

  10. oh thank you - I have acquaintances who just moved to DC and was feeling home sick! How lovely to find photos to help me remember :)

Love the reflection on the Wall, the blurry urban scenes - so evocative of the rush/bustle, especially 'More Walking' and that 'Window to the sky'.
