I was laying in one of my flower beds (yes, in the privacy of my backyard, lol), photographing some purple lantana clusters. I didn't notice this little red bug until I looked at the photos on the computer...do you see him? Lucky shot!

I see it! I see it! DO I WIN SOMETHING? Hee! Hee!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers - and what bug is that?!
ReplyDeletePretty! I don't think I'd have noticed the bug if you hadn't mentioned it,
ReplyDeleteI'm from the old school and I would have probably smooshed him after taking the shot. And that's a shame because I have no clue whether this is a beneficial or a destructive bug. I guess I need to look that one up to quiet my conscience. LOL
ReplyDeleteYep! Cool! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! I do see the bug.

You are such a PRO!!
Have a Blessing Sunday!
They look like baby spider mites, if you are lucky they are only a few weeks old. They are not good for your plants, they will suck the nutrients out of the stem and eventually kill the plant. Spray liberally with an insecticide. Also , beware, they like to spread from plant to plant
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot of them though! : )
I saw it only because you mentioned it. Good eye you have!!
